A critical upgrade for Tesla Model S and X Gen 2 battery packs. The BP-PL-02 is a precision-designed cover plate developed to permanently eliminate the OEM umbrella-style vent valves located on the bottom of the battery.
 
These original rubber umbrella valves are known to become vulnerable over time, allowing water ingress into the high-voltage battery, a known cause of internal corrosion and shorts.

Product Details:
This plate replaces the 3 umbrella valves with a solid, sealed cover, fully preventing water from penetrating through this critical area. It is specially shaped to match the OEM footprint and screw positions.

Installation:
Installation must be performed by a qualified high-voltage technician. Clean and degrease the surface fully before mounting. Apply approved gasket sealant for optimal waterproofing. Torque fasteners evenly to ensure a uniform seal.
