What does “Precision Certified” mean?

“Precision Certified” is the exclusive quality and warranty seal of Precision Autotechnik AG – developed to offer absolute security when purchasing a used electric vehicle.

Every Precision Certified vehicle has been fully inspected, technically approved, and documented by our Level 4 high-voltage technicians.
This seal means: no coincidences, no hidden defects, no uncertainties – only tested precision.

What distinguishes a Precision Certified vehicle

A vehicle with the “Precision Certified” seal represents a vehicle that has been thoroughly tested, documented, and guaranteed – technically, electronically, and historically.

Our certification includes:

Accident-free: No Precision Certified vehicle has ever been involved in a structural or safety-related accident. Minor paint or impact damage is documented, but structural damage is excluded.
Battery health: Every high-voltage battery is analyzed using state-of-the-art diagnostic technology. The actual State of Health (SOH) is measured, documented, and disclosed to the buyer.
Drive Unit: Check for bearing noise, seals, insulation resistance, and possible coolant leaks – everything is checked and, if necessary, overhauled or replaced.
Software & System Updates: All updates and recalls provided by the manufacturer have been implemented and confirmed.
Mechanical safety: Axles, wishbones, suspensions, brakes, shock absorbers, and steering are checked, replaced if necessary, and documented.
Charging history & usage: Review of charging processes (AC/DC ratio) and analysis of possible battery stress patterns. Vehicles with excessive fast charging (DC) are excluded.
Complete documentation:
- Technical baseline report with photos, measurement data and test values.
- CarVertical report including origin, accident history, mileage, theft status, and service history.
- Precision Certified test report – our in-house proof of quality.

Our warranty – up to 500,000 km or 60 months

Every Precision Certified vehicle receives an exclusive special warranty on the high-voltage battery and electric drive unit – up to 500,000 kilometers or 60 months (whichever comes first).

This warranty is only issued for vehicles that meet all testing and quality requirements. It covers the repair, replacement, or reconditioning of affected components—including labor, parts, and post-repair testing.

How the Precision Certified process works

Technical incoming inspection: Complete diagnosis and visual inspection.
Battery analysis: Measurement of the State of Health (SOH), cell voltage and temperature behavior.
Chassis and brake testing: Analysis for play, wear, and noise.
Software and hardware updates: Checking and implementing all updates available from the manufacturer.
Test drive & quality approval: Driving test under real conditions.
Documentation & Seal: Preparation of all reports, signing by Precision Autotechnik AG and affixing of the Precision Certified emblem.
